Nutrition can be described as food or nourishment required to keep an organism growing and healthy. People need a constant source of nutrition to keep themselves healthy. A nutritious food item has a rich amount of nutrients in comparison to foods filled with fats and sugar. Junk food is never the answer as it is filled with fats, sugars, and oil which if consumed too often will make you overweight and unhealthy.

What Should You Be Eating?

  • Dairy Products: Dairy products such as milk, cheese, and eggs are important items in any diet. Low fat and non-fat dairy products are recommended as these products contain high levels of saturated fats which if consumed in large amounts can lead to heart disease.
  • Fruits and Vegetables: These must be eaten every day. Fruits can be eaten in between meals if you tend to get hungry. They will fill you up and you will not crave other food items which contain fats and sugar. Vegetables can be included in your lunch and dinner.
