Senior living has never been this good!  With much anticipation, North Hill, MA residents this week toured the senior living community’s newly renovated Fitness Center and Pool.  Now part of WellSpring Landing, the remodeled spaces are breathtakingly impressive and ready to use!

A new Cardio Training Center offers several exciting new pieces of training equipment as well as a Stretching Area featuring a stretching table for enhanced core and flexibility training.  A new Strength Training Center features the addition of our HUR Health and Fitness Equipment.

The HUR technology is based on the principles of Natural Transmission Movements combined with pneumatic air-resistance technology, which maximizes the user’s workout through their entire range of motion in the smoothest and safest way possible.  Residents are attending orientations with North Hill trainers to develop individualized programs specific to their own personal fitness goals.

North Hills’ fitness and wellness teams also are excited to offer a new Balance and Fall Prevention Training Program.  With the HUR IBalance Unit, we can now assess and create true Fall Prevention Programs.  The Balance Testing and Training Modules help us to identify and improve balance strategies and posture control.  We are excited to begin programming in this critical area of training and work toward reducing the risk of falls.

Since the reopening of the Fitness Center and Pool, North Hill residents and team members have been praising the beauty, design and added amenities.  These attributes will enhance the entire experience allowing our residents to continue to pursue Purposefully Living.  We look forward to exercising, socializing and improving our health in all dimensions of wellness for years to come.
