Active Living Communities Review: Providence Point, Issaquah, WA – An Extraordinary Over 55 Retirement Community! by Bob Sluys

Hey everyone – Active Living Bob the Blogger here! With approximately 6,923,481,275,284,378 blogs on the Internet (and increasing by the minute), I really need to not only be a trusted source of reliable information, but I need to keep you the reader interested and perhaps even entertained as well . . . right? RIGHT!
So, I dug back in my (what’s left of it) memory bank and for whatever reason stumbled upon two things: the CrackerJacks theme from the ’60s and “Mr. Subliminal” from SNL fame. Watch how I cleverly intertwine these two themes as I tell you all about the incredible active adult living community that is Providence Point in Issaquah, Washington.
(Ahem-that’s me clearing my throat – after all, I’m going to SING this; you can sing along, too, if you’d like!)
“Where can you live if you want to relax (Providence Point) and be able to choose from over 50 custom floor plans (Providence Point) and live only minutes from EVERYTHING (Providence Point) where you feel like you’re staying at the luxurious Ritz-Carlton (Providence Point) with prices as low as $99,000 and you’ve gotta have 24 hour secure and guard gated privacy (Providence Point) with 40 to 50 activities and clubs to enjoy?”
All together now . . . Providence Point!
OK – so that trip down memory lane was fun . . . and speaking of building fun memories, since 55 is the new 35 (work with me, I’m trying to buy into this myself), living at Providence Point affords you every opportunity to live the lifestyle you deserve – for a long time!
For those of you who haven’t visited the Pacific northwest, the Puget Sound region and the Seattle area in particular, get ready for a lush green experience. Issaquah is a quaint setting only 15 minutes east of Seattle and within an hour of world class snow skiing in the beautiful Cascade mountains.
Local wineries abound. Biking and hiking trails are everywhere AND – you’re gonna love this – it doesn’t rain nearly as much as those pesky rumours keep saying. Really!
I checked in with Sandy, who – along with her partner Barb are the local experts when it comes to Providence Point real estate. I asked them if I had missed anything in describing this wonderful age-qualified community.
I’m almost sorry that I did.
“Well, gee, let me think,” Sandy started – and 20 minutes (and hand cramps from writer faster than I thought possible) later, I had a few more nuggets!
“It’s pet friendly! There are two full-time activity directors! We have a “cummuni-versity” taught by residents (lotsa smart people over there in Providence Point)! It’s got a fraternity/sorority feel with a real sense of community. The grounds are like a wildlife preserve.”
Sandy also told me about Costco headquarters located in Issaquah, Microsoft just up the street in Redmond and the world-class medical facility Overlake Hospital next door in Bellevue. Whew!
One thing that makes Providence Point a first choice for people seeking an active adult lifestyle is the fact that unlike Florida, California, Arizona and other sunbelt locations, there are only a handful of exclusive 55+ communities in the northwest and therefore it’s a highly desirable place to live.
So, to recap . . . it’s true that you didn’t get any caramel-coated popcorn, peanuts and a prize . . . you got something much better! Why not contact Sandy & Barb for your private tour of Providence Point today.
Gotta run – starting a new blog post on bulk buying bargains at everyone’s favourite warehouse store! Anyone need 48 rolls of tee-pee?
