The weather in North Carolina is greatly influenced by its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean. Therefore, you will find that North Carolina has mild winters and moderate summers. Economy wise, North Carolina is first in industries, such as textiles, tobacco, and furniture. They are also great producers of meat and dairy. Fruits and vegetables are grown in small quantities and are sold within the State at local markets. If you wish to bird-watch or simply go hiking to take in the splendor of North Carolina, you can do so at Eagle’s Nest and Dunn’s Mountain Nature Park. There is also canoeing, kayaking, fishing, and boating here.
